China unveils 51 high-value "AI plus" scenarios in energy sector

China on Tuesday published a list of 51 "AI+" high-value application scenarios for integrating AI into the energy industry, a move designed to accelerate AI deployment and foster mutual reinforcement between the two fields.

Arranged by the National Energy Administration, the list targets eight key scenario categories covering power grids, new energy, and emerging energy business forms, offering a practical roadmap for bringing AI technologies into real-world energy operations.
