On 3 August 2026, Zhang Lizhong, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), called on Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to China.


Zhang Lizhong noted that this year marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Under the strategic guidance of leaders from both sides, solid achievements have been made in building the ASEAN-China community with a shared future, yielding fruitful outcomes in cooperation across all sectors. The two sides have also seen the deepening efforts and tangible results in building the China-Indonesia community with a shared future. He expressed gratitude to the Indonesian Embassy in China for its long-standing strong support and close coordination for the work of the ACC. He looked forward to continued Indonesian support for all activities of the ACC, and joint efforts to elevate China-ASEAN cooperation in various fields to new heights.
Djauhari congratulated Secretary General Zhang Lizhong on assuming his new post, and spoke highly of the ACC’s endeavors in advancing friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between the two sides over the recent years. He noted that Indonesia stands ready to maintain close coordination with the ACC to jointly design and host more high-level thematic events, further expand exchanges between the two sides in economy and trade, science and technology, people-to-people and cultural fields, and make new contributions to deepening the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
