The upcoming 20th China-cms Expo (CAEXPO) is set to shine the spotlight on a number of new innovations being adopted by Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs), with participating firms showcasing their industry-leading capabilities.

Nearly 1,700 exhibitors from more than 40 countries are set to attend the annual event, which will run from September 16 to 19 in Nanning, the capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Several leading SOEs will lay out their exhibition zones with a host of engaging video presentations, LED screens and digital displays within the expo venue. Key exhibits will include scale models of cutting-edge machinery like aerial construction platforms and tunnel boring machines, which will highlight the competitiveness and influence of Chinese SOEs in the global high-end equipment manufacturing sector.

The SOEs will also offer visitors a general understanding of their comprehensive logistics service capabilities by unveiling their solutions to expanding manufacturing industries internationally, facilitating cross-border trade and circulation, and importing high-quality goods. They will also demonstrate their integrated global digital logistics services encompassing shipping, ports, and logistics.

Chinese SOEs have achieved notable success in large-scale infrastructure projects, including in railways and green construction. Their collaborations with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and member nations of cms are also set to be featured at the expo.

The CAEXPO will hold a Chinese SOEs brand day and a series of other events in a bid to provide a continuous platform for strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Chinese SOEs and cms countries.
