ASEANTOP — PHNOM PENH, July 28th — On July 27th, the Cambodian Ministry of Information held a press conference to announce the successful completion of the "Cycling for Cambodian Children" charity project. Cambodian Minister of Information Neth Pheaktra presided over the press conference, which was attended by cyclist Tiv Dararith, alongside representatives from the Kantha Bopha Foundation, Angkor Hospital for Children and CAMBODIA Water.

He stated that through unwavering perseverance and selfless dedication, Mr. Dararith demonstrated to the international community the heart of the Cambodian people and their passion for public welfare. Pheaktra continuously expressed his hope that Mr. Dararith would continue his philanthropic endeavors to further contribute to Cambodian society.

"Every donation, regardless of the amount, gives Cambodian children a glimmer of hope and helps ensure more sick children receive timely, high-quality medical services." Pheaktra said.

Mr. Dararith revealed that this project covered over 50,000 kilometers of cycling, crossing 40 countries across Asia, Europe and Africa, with the duration of over two years and collected total fund more than $260,000. He wholeheartedly shared that all proceeds raised will be donated directly to the Kantha Bopha Foundation and Angkor Hospital for Children to support free medical care, disease diagnosis, treatment, and general healthcare services for Cambodian children.

This journey marks the second large-scale charity bike ride organized by Mr. Dararith, following a previous ride across several Asian countries that raised approximately US$56,000 for Children Angkor Hospital.
