The Second Phase of the Chinese-funded WINGCHENG Packaging Industrial Park in Cambodia Officially Starts Construction, Creating a New Intelligent Factory and More Employment Opportunities

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – October 22, 2025 – On the morning of October 22, 2025, the construction commencement ceremony for the second phase of the industrial park of the Chinese-funded Cambodia WINGCHENG Packaging CO., LTD, a leading regional industrial packaging provider, was grandly held at the project site at the 28 kilometer of Cambodia's National Highway No.4 (Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville). ZHENG XIANJIANG, Chairman of WINGCHENG Packaging Group, and LIU JIANHUA, Executive Director, attended the event and delivered keynote speeches.

In his speech, LIU JIANHUA reviewed the company's decade-long development journey since the establishment of the first phase of the project in Cambodia in 2012. He stated that WINGCHENG Packaging has established a strong business network and market reputation through its superior product quality and meticulous service. With the continued expansion of the business, the construction of the second phase of the project became an inevitable, strategic choice for the company's future.

LIU JIANHUA detailed that the Phase II facility, also located at 28 kilometer from Phnom Penh of National Highway No.4 and covering 30,000 square meters, will focus on cardboard and carton production, marking the company's crucial expansion into upstream supply links. This move aims to form a more complete and independent supply chain within the country. The existing Phase I project will maintain its focus on core businesses such as color printing and agricultural packaging materials, ensuring a complementary and synergistic development across the entire park. He emphasized that this historic launch represents not just new foundations, but unwavering confidence and commitment to Cambodia’s future.

ZHENG XIANJIANG stated that the launch of the Phase II project marks a significant milestone in the development of WINGCHENG Packaging, signaling a strategic leap and an industrial upgrade. He described WINGCHENG Packaging as a seed that has flourished in Cambodia's fertile soil, now standing tall as a key contributor to the local industrial landscape.

ZHENG also envisioned that the new factory would introduce intelligent assembly lines, automated logistics, and establish a green production system via solar power integration, achieving harmonious development between the enterprise and nature. He underscored the social commitment, emphasizing that the project is expected to create up to 500 new local jobs, promote skills transfer, strengthen the industry's vitality, and resonate directly with Cambodia's national development goals.

The event featured a solemn traditional blessing ceremony where specially invited guests performed rituals with fresh fruit and golden roasted pig, praying for the smooth progress of the project and the company’s continued prosperity. The ceremony culminated when ZHENG XIANJIANG, LIU JIANHUA, and eighteen other dignitaries took up golden shovels to formally lay the foundation for the project. Amidst the roar of fireworks and the resounding gongs and drums, all present witnessed this historic moment.

To celebrate the occasion, a spectacular lion dance performance was arranged, bringing good luck and blessings to the new facility. Following the ceremony, the company cordially invited all guests to a thank-you lunch.
