Huawei Cambodia Unveils Pura 90s Series and Flagship Ecosystem for the Cambodian Market

ASEANTOP — PHNOM PENH, August 11th, 2026 —  Huawei Cambodia held its flagship‑product launch event at Hyatt Regency in Phnom Penh on August 11, 2026 , officially unveiling a suite of premium flagship devices for the Cambodian market. The product portfolio comprises the Huawei Pura 90s series, MatePad Pro Max tablet, MatePad Mini and Huawei Watch Ultimate. Close to 100 media practitioners, ecosystem partners and brand fans attended the event to witness a new milestone in Huawei’s regional all‑scenario smart‑living strategy.

At the opening session, Grady Hu, Country Director of Huawei Device Cambodia & Laos, delivered a keynote speech outlining Huawei’s long‑term commitment to the local market. “Huawei has always strived to connect with local culture through innovation,” said Hu. “Guided by our vision ‘In Cambodia, for Cambodia’, we keep matching cutting‑edge technologies with the real‑life demands of Cambodian consumers. In addition to bringing flagship consumer devices to the country, we commit to growing Cambodia’s digital ecosystem via deep‑rooted local partnerships, enabling every end‑user to reap the dividends brought by technology,” he noted.

On ecosystem development, Huawei announced that AppGallery now provides full coverage of Cambodia’s must‑have daily‑use applications. Representatives from leading regional service providers covering banking, healthcare, transportation and on‑demand delivery — including ABA Bank, ACLEDA Bank, Foodpanda, E‑Gets, MeetDoctor and BookMeBus — took part in on‑stage demonstrations, testifying to the smooth interoperability and robust security of Huawei’s app ecosystem for everyday users.

Network performance constituted another major highlight of the showcase. Cambodia’s three top telecom operators: Smart, Cellcard and Metfone, have entered partnerships with Huawei to fine‑tune 5G network performance for the new product range. Against accelerating nationwide 5G uptake, the joint effort seeks to deliver high‑speed, low‑latency connectivity to support high‑definition streaming, mobile gaming and day‑to‑day communications.
