CCIA and Beijing DHH Law Firm Partner to promote China-Cambodia Business and Legal Cooperation

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – On November 30, 2025, the Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA) and the Beijing DHH Law Firm held an exchange meeting and signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting collaboration between China and Cambodia businesses and legal services.

The exchange meeting was hosted by CCIA and attempted by 29 attendees from both delegations. The Beijing DHH Law Firm delegation was led by LIU KEJIANG,President of DHH Group, and included senior managers and professional lawyers.

Nak Oknha Ly Kunthai, President of the Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA), characterized Cambodia as being in a "golden age" of development, supported by political stability and sustained economic growth under the leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He also noted Cambodia's advantages as an ASEAN member with a young population and favorable investment policies. Highlighting the increasingly close economic and trade relations within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Diamond Six, Nak Oknha LY KUNTHAI stressed that professional legal services are a crucial guarantee for investment success. At the end of his speech, he expressed anticipation for collaborating with DHH Law Firm to jointly build a safer and more efficient business environment for enterprises from both countries.

Oknha LIM TONG, Rotating President of CCIA, introduced the current development status of Cambodia's travel goods and leather. He pointed out that the industry is navigating challenges like legal compliance, application of international trade rules, and intellectual property protection as it transforms from OEM production to self-owned brands and intelligent manufacturing. He also stated the exchange was timely, and the professional experience of DHH Law Firm would provide important support for enterprise development.

During the meeting, both sides watched organizational promotional videos and engaged in professional exchanges on topics such as China-Cambodia investment, legal services, and the digital economy.

The subsequent signing ceremony saw the Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association signed a cooperation agreement with DHH Group, and the Cambodia Alpha Group signed an agreement with DHH Law Firm. Nak Oknha LY KUNTHAI and LIU KEJIANG, among others, witnessed the signing process. Both sides agree that this exchange has laid a solid foundation for promoting further cooperation between China and Cambodia in the fields of business and legal services.
