NANNING, China – To deepen the "ironclad friendship" and expand bilateral trade between Cambodia and China, Neak Oknha Ly Kunthai, President of the Cambodia Confederation of Investor Association (CCIA), led a high-level delegation to Nanning, Guangxi,China, to participate in the 2026 Inner Mongolia Xiwuqi Agricultural and Livestock Products Promotion Conference.

The event themed "Inner Mongolian Culture Integrates with the Silk Road: Livestock and Cattle Shine in ASEAN," served as a strategic platform to explore investment opportunities and facilitate the entry of Xiwuqi Banner’s premium agricultural products—including cattle, sheep, horses, and artisanal cheeses—into the Cambodian and wider ASEAN markets.

In his keynote address, Neak Oknha Ly Khun Thai expressed a strong interest in the Xiwuqi region's agricultural potential. He specifically highlighted the "Ujumqin Sheep"—a signature of Chinese agriculture—noting that such high-quality products are perfectly aligned with the rising demand for healthy, premium food options among consumers in the ASEAN region.

Neak Oknha Ly Khun Thai emphasized that the ongoing Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the full implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) have created a golden era for China-Cambodia economic cooperation.
"We are committed to jointly introducing China's high-quality agricultural products to Cambodia and promoting them throughout ASEAN to meet local demand," he stated. The delegation's participation underscores the CCIA's firm commitment to adopting new technologies and high-value products to drive national economic development and regional integration.
