Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia participates in the Asian Financial Forum 2026

On 26 January 2026, LIM Lork Piseth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia , participated in the Asian Financial Forum 2026, which was presided over by His Excellency John K.C. Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

The forum included senior government officials from around the world, leaders of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, businessmen, experts, and major international financial institutions, with approximately 4,000 attendees from 60 countries.

The forum, held from 26–27 January 2026, had the objective of promoting cooperation and integration in the fields of finance, economics, and international trade. The discussion panels focused on the global economy, international trade, the financial sector, and recent developments in international geopolitics.

During the forum, LIM Lork Piset also had a working lunch with Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of Hong Kong S.A.R, Dr. Peter Lam, Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board and former Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and Christopher Hui, Secretary of Financial Service and Treasury of Hong Kong S.A.R., to further strengthen relations and promote mutual trade cooperation between Cambodia and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
