PHNOM PENH, Cambodia – In a vibrant celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year 2026, the Youth Group of the Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia, with strongly support of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, has officially launched the 2026 Cambodia-China New Year Cultural Exhibition.


The three-day event runs from February 6 to February 8, 2026, taking place at the Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia Headquarters, located in front of Borey Rungrung, Rue Rungrung 1, Sangkat Prey Kalap, Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.


Speaking at the Blessing Ceremony held on the morning of February 5, 2026, to inaugurate the event, Oknha Duong Tech, Vice President of the Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia and Head of the Youth Group, highlighted the strategic vision behind the gathering. "This event was organized with the aim of uniting young people of Chinese ancestry to actively participate in preserving Chinese New Year traditions," said Oknha Duong Tech. " furthermore, it serves as a platform for conducting charity work and fostering business cooperation, contributing to socio-economic development and promoting stronger Cambodia-China relations for the future."



The exhibition is designed to foster a deeper understanding of the enduring friendship between Cambodia and China while showcasing the richness of traditional Chinese culture. The event is open to the public with free admission, offering citizens a unique opportunity to participate in the festivities, enjoy entertainment, and celebrate the traditions of the Lunar New Year.
