CAMBODIA-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 held in Phnom Penh

ASEANTOP –CAMBODIA-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 (CABS) was successfully held at Sofitel Hotel, Phnom Penh on March 4th, 2026, with honorably presided over by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the kingdom of Cambodia.

This summit aimed to address the shifting supply chains and the revolution of the global economy and how ASEAN, as one of the world’s most resilient market, to timely evolves as a whole. It also addressed how Cambodia’s new investment’s law, infrastructure upgrades and digital innovation will help transform the country as one of the most attractive and investment-friendly hub throughout ASEAN.

Hun Manet , Prime Minister of the kingdom of Cambdia, stated that modern infrastructure development is a crucial cornerstone for the country's sustainable development. To promote high-quality economic development, Cambodia is fully committed to developing its logistics capabilities, including the already operational 4F-level Techo International Airport and the steadily progressing Funan Techo Canal project, providing independent and efficient logistics channels for regional freight and international cross-border trade. President Hun Manet emphasized that the government will continue to strongly support the development of the digital economy and green energy projects, creating a favorable business environment to ensure the success of local and international entrepreneurs in the Cambodian market and achieve sustainable growth.

Hun Manet pointed out that these initiatives will not only enhance Cambodia's economic competitiveness within ASEAN and global and will also boost employment, drive industrial upgrading, and create more development opportunities for the younger generation. Hun Manet  called on businesses and investors to seize these opportunities and participate in Cambodia's modernization and regional integration process to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Mr. Joey Concepcion, Chair of ASEAN BAC 2026 (Philippines), emphasized that the theme “Innovation, Integration and Industrial Evolution” moved him deeply. Throughout his journey and experience as chair of ASEAN BAC, he said “that growth must reach the smallest entrepreneur, the farmer in rural communities, the young innovator with a dream. Growth must move from the boardroom to the grassroots.” He included with the congratulation to Cambodia that has transformed into a skill-driven, green and investment-ready economy, which help strengthening not only national competitiveness but also ASEAN’s collective resilience.

In his welcome remarks, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council-Cambodia, stated “with the fragility and revolution of the world economy, ASEAN need to support each other and stay firm with the same goals in mind, stability and unity”. “I encourage all CEO investors to use this forum to engage meaningfully, to deepen partnerships, and to identify concrete opportunities that will define the next decade of ASEAN growth”, addressed Neak Oknha.

The summit featured numerous thematic business matchmaking events, providing a broad platform with ample opportunities for networking and collaboration, with further deepening mutual understanding and strengthening regional partnerships.
